This app is great because you or your students can create flashcards for any subject
area. This also allows you to use and evaluate other students flashcards and millions of
other users flashcards as well. This also shows feedback and allows students to know
where they need improvement. Students also become more engaged and motivated to
learn because it allows students to have interaction in a fun way. Its easy to use, and
has the information needed to guide students to remembering and creating. Students
can access and share other peers work, and so can teachers.

The Nibus Clipper allows students and teachers to capture internet pages, take photos of
books, and use pdf files to make annotations. You can highlight, strike text, draw on the
PDFs, and also comment on the PDFs. This app allows students to understand historical
documents, in my case, and to make necessary notes and adjustments to articles and
artifacts. This motivates students because they are engaged with technology and allows
a sense of freedom. For example, students can go online and chose a historically
significant article or document like the constitution, to make notes, highlight or comment
on important texts within these documents.

Google earth is an excellent app for students to apply, demonstrate, and operate history
at their fingertips. Students can go back in time, view historical trails and places, and
even learn about historical figures and where they grew up. With this app you can jump
into a virtual tour of historical buildings and have a larger grasp of what we are learning.
I would use this app to take students around the world without having to ever leave the
classroom. Students can quickly understand the functions and do this on their own.

With google expeditions, you can take virtual reality tours with a few easy hacks and an
ipad. You have a cardboard cutout that you can fit onto an ipad or other devices, or you
can buy the kit itself. Students have the opportunity to travel the world and have a close
encounter with areas and locations related to virtually any subject area. In my case, I
would use it to walk through the white house, or have a walkthrough of fall of France in
1940. This app keeps students attracted to the subject because of the surreal feeling of
actually being where ever it is they are.

Summary of the app 6-8 sentences
This helps teachers and students visualize what they are learning and teaching. Students
will learn about events and can draw conclusions and pictures of what they think it
looked like. Or draw historical statues and houses. Or they can shows war strategies and
how invasions took place. Students and teachers can share and send all these pictures to
each other. This can really bring out the creativity in students in any academic genre.
