Introduction to Transposition
Using the key board below we will begin trespassing basic chord progressions. By counting up the
number of Semi-Tones we want to change the key we can discover how many semitones all chords
within the progression need to move. For example if we want to change progression 1 from its original
key of G to the key of C we need to count up 6 semi-tones including the original note of G.
