The non-profit organization that we have chosen is the non-profit organization

that we have chosen is the Ray of Hope, Childrens house. It is an organization that
provide a home for less fortunate children. They hope for contributions and support such
as being a volunteer in teaching and servicing or provide food, household items or
childrens personal items. We have decided to choose this organization because we
want to enhance the environment for the children to live in a comfortable place.
The duties that the organization wants us to perform are mural painting, repairing
cupboards , removing the grass at the backyard and creating some furniture. The
duration that we propose is twice a week in 2 months. We will do our service at the
childrens home in Sepang. The children over there will benefit from our works. We are
still currently trying our best to find the sponsors. The sustainable strategies that are
adopted in our project are using water solvent paint and acrylic paint for the furniture that
we are going to make to make it long lasting.
We have not done any fund raising activities but all the group members are
willing to contribute cash from their parents around RM1500 in the total to buy the paints
and plants , to pay the petrol fees to Sepang.
We are going to visit Ray of Hope Childrens Home on 1st October (Saturday)
and 9th October 2016 (Sunday) and start doing our duties. Wong Cho Mun, Ho Zi Yan
and Ng Ji Yan are responsible for cleaning the backyard, Lim Xiu Qing, Yong Ai YI,
Crystal Chia Fye Jzng and Le Jia Ling are responsible for repainting on the old furnitures
and painting murals on the wall, Muhammas Sheik Irfaan Yadun, Muhammad Faidh Bin
Mohammad Nawawi, Muhammad Mirza Quayyum Bin Mohd Shariff, Artish and Pau Jin
Wei are responsible for the repair and manufacture of furniture. The following week we
will start planning the layout of the A3 Multimedia Poster.
