DISMISSAL BLESSINGS

OF

CHRIST TONE 4

Thou dwelt in a Cave, O Christ our God,

and a Manger received Thee.
Shepherds and Magi worshipped
Thee.
And the Message of the
Prophets was fulfilled. The Angelic
Hosts were filled with Wonderment,
and shouted:
Glory to Thy
Condescension, O Only Lord Who
Loves humanity!

OF

CHRIST

OUR

LORD TONE 4

Thy

Nativity, O Christ our God, has

caused the Light of Knowledge to
Rise upon the world. For therein the
worshippers of the stars were by a
Star guided to worship Thee, O Sun
of Righteousness, and to know Thee
as Orient from on High: O Lord,
Glory to Thee! (3)

Christ our Lord &

Saviour is Born!
Let us Worship and Obey

Man, and they eagerly opened their
Treasures, and offered Him Precious
Gifts of pure gold to the King of all
ages, incense to the God of all, and
Myrrh to the Immortal One Who
would die for Three Days. Come, O
All Nations, let us worship Him Who
was Born to Save our soul.

And all who Love

Zion, celebrate! Today the age old
bond of the Condemnation of Adam
has been broken! Paradise is opened
to us! The Serpent is neutralised!
Having deceived a woman in
Paradise of old, he now beholds a
Woman become the Virgin Mother of
our Creator! What profound Riches
and Wisdom, and Knowledge of God!
Woman who became the first
instrument of sin, having brought
Death to all flesh, has now through
the Theotokos become the Beginning
of Salvation of the world! For the All
Perfect God is Born as an Infant from
Her, in Birth preserving Her
Virginity, and being wrapped in
swaddling clothes, He breaks the
chains of sin! And as Infant, He
Heals the travail of Eve. Wherefore,
let all Creation dance and leap with
Joy, for Christ came to recall, and to
Save our soul!
