Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

On a small boat in Panama, reporter Elena Fisher and treasure hunter Nathan Drak
e retrieve the coffin of famous explorer Sir Frances Drake. Nate, a self proclai
med descendant of Drake, finds within the journal filled with hand-drawn charts,
illustrations and notes by the adventurer himself.
According to Nate, "When Drake sailed into the Pacific he took the Spanish fleet
completely by surprise. He captured their ships, he took all their maps, their
letters, their journals - and he recorded everything in this diary. But when he
got back to England, Queen Elizabeth confiscated all of his charts and logbooks,
" including the one found in his coffin. According to the journal it was the gra
nd treasure of El Dorado that Drake found on his journey. Nate and Victor "Sully
" Sullivan quickly set sail for the Amazon, where the journal notes the beginnin
g of their adventure.
After some grand messes and close calls, Nathan eventually finds a projector and
document in Drake's own hand:
"My end is near. The devils hunt for me in the darkness. The gold of El Dorado b
ears a terrible curse; the Spaniards have unleashed hell, and become as demons.
My men have all been murdered, leaving the task to me alone. No ship will depart
this island; I destroyed them all, and drowned the cursed city. A thing of such
great evil must never leave these shores. In my final hour, I commend my soul t
o God. May He have mercy on this unholy place."
Turns out that El Dorado, the famed city of gold, is actually a large gold sarco
phagus that carries a curse. Making his way toward El Dorado's new location whil
e being pursued by Gabriel Roman, Atoq Navarro, and their goons - Sully and Nate
arrive too late as Roman reveals the horrified mummy inside and unleashes a ter
rible virus that turns him into the feral creatures Nate has been battling.
Navarro orders the treasure be taken away by helicopter and Nate clings to the n
et, hitching a ride to a cargo ship. A final showdown with Navarro leads to the
statue and Navarro being dragged to the bottom of the ocean floor.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Nate and Harry Flynn, an old acquaintance and partner in crime, break into the I
stanbul Palace Museum in search of a clay oil lamp related to Marco Polo.
Polo's fleet left China with 600 passengers aboard fourteen ships loaded with tr
easure from the great Kublai Khan. It landed in Persia a year and a half later,
diminished to one vessel and eighteen passengers. Polo documented every detail o
f the expedition - but did not disclose the fate of the missing ships and passen
gers.
The lamp reveals that Polo's fleet was caught up in a tsunami off the coast of B
orneo and that the cargo was from Shambhala. Believing that the Cintamani Stone
may still be there, Nate prepares to head out. Betrayed by Flynn and captured by
the Turkish police, Nate spends the next three months in jail. Bailed out by Su
lly and Chloe, an old flame, they head out to catch Flynn.
Flynn and his client Lazarevic are close to finding the "Buddhist holy grail", a
perfect raw sapphire worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Following the clues
, Nate finds himself in the Tibetan mountains in a monastery where he finds the
entrance to Shambhala. Surrounded by Lazarevic's men, they all enter the city an
d find it overgrown with the Tree of Life. Entering, the men are attacked by the
guardians of the city, allowing Nate to escape. Making his way through the city
, Nate enters a pyramidal temple to find the Cintamani Stone. Realizing that the

stone is in fact amber from the trees sap, not sapphire, it becomes clear that
the Tree of Life is the real treasure.
At the base of the tree, Nate enters a showdown with Lazarevic. Imbued with the
power of the tree's sap, Nate uses the sap's explosive reaction to damage Lazare
vic and win. As the Tree of Life dies, Nate and the others escape.
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Nate and Victor walk into a pub in London to meet a man named Talbot, who's inte
rested in purchasing Nate's ring that belonged to Sir Frances Drake.
20 years earlier, a young Nathan seeks out the same ring in a museum in Cartagen
a, Columbia. Unbeknownst to him a woman by the name or Marlowe and her companion
, Victor Sullivan, also seek the ring and catch Nathan. Luckily, Sully sees grea
tness in Nate and rescues him, taking him as a protege from that day forward.
Back in the present day, the group follow Talbot and Marlowe to an underground l
ibrary and retrieve T. E. Lawrence's notebook that confirms Sir Frances Drake's
secret voyage to Arabia. Commissioned by Queen Elizabeth I and John Dee, it is b
elieved that Sir Frances' voyage was in search of the lost city of Ubar.
The group splits up - with Nate and Sully heading to a chateau in France while C
hloe and Cutter make their way to a citadel in Syria, both of which contain a pi
ece of a mysterious amulet that points the way to Yemen. In Yemen, Nate reluctan
tly seeks the aid of his estranged wife, Elena Fisher, to find the underground t
omb and discover the location of the lost city within the vast Rub' al Khali des
ert.
After making his way to the Rub' al Khali desert, Nate gains help from a Bedouin
named Salim. Salim warns Nate that the city of Ubar was doomed thousands of yea
rs ago by King Solomon when he imprisoned evil Djinn within a brass vessel and c
ast it into the heart of the city, but Nate continues forward in an attempt to r
escue Sully.
Finding his way to the city of Ubar, Nate learns that the results of King Solomo
n's actions left the water tainted with minerals that cause vivid hallucinations
agents. These agents are what Marlowe seeks to gain for her own evil purpose an
d the reason Sir Francis Drake abandoned his his quest long ago. In an effort to
stop Marlow, Nate accidentally blows up the central cistern of Iram and causes
the city to begin to collapse around them. As Nate and Sully escape, they are co
rned by Talbot and Marlowe, but the floor gives way and Marlowe falls into a sin
khole along with Drake's ring. Finishing off Talbot as Ubar collapses, the pair
escape and are rescued by Salim once again.

Prologue
I am a Man of Fortune, and I must seek my Fortune.
The story begins in the middle, with Nate and an individual named Sam being purs

ued in a boat. Hold to accelerate the boat toward the island and don't be afrai
d to smash into the smaller boats to destroy them. When the larger boat rams int
o you and begins to drop mines you'll want to avoid them as much as possible, bu
t you'll eventually get hit and Nate will be flung from the boat. Hold to surfa
ce and when you spot the incoming boat headed your way hold to submerge and nar
rowly miss the propeller.
When you resurface and swim to the boat Sam will take over fixing the engine whi
le you provide cover. Take cover on the same side of the boat that Sam is on and
prepare for a firefight. The first boat has two normal enemies at first, but wh
en you see an armored enemy rush to the left side of the boat you'll want to foc
us on him. This enemy uses a Grenade Launcher and can do heavy damage, but if yo
u defeat him quickly he'll blow up his own boat. Two smaller boats will speed up
alongside you, each with one enemy, and when you defeat the closest boat anothe
r boat with two more enemies will take its place.
Once the smaller boats are gone and Sam has repaired the engine, take the wheel
and head toward the island again. This time you're going to want to avoid the ro
cks as you weave through the area and ram into the smaller boats. After a while
the large boat will reappear and ram into your boat, capsizing it and flinging N
ate into the water.
