Using a set of notions and concepts that is appropriate for the investigated area

Knowing and understanding the fundamental concepts: cultural matrix, stylistic horizon,
cultural transmissions, morphology of culture, artistic periods and currents, cultural

Knowing the main methods of researching the investigated spaces and cultural periods

inter-disciplinary and pluri-disciplinary set of tools to be used in interpreting situations
of contact and linguistic and cultural conflict
