What are you going to do when youre older? Have you got
a dream job? Maybe you want to be an actor. But some very
famous actors had different dreams when they were younger.
Johnny Depp was born in the USA in 1963. When he was young, he
wanted to be a musician. He plays the guitar and he was in a band
called The Kids. The band wasnt successful and Depp got another
job. When he was 20, he got a job as an actor. He made famous films
like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Now Depp wants to make wine. But he still plays the guitar.
Penlope Cruz was born in Spain in 1974. When she was young,
she wanted to be a dancer. She started dancing when she was four
years old and she studied ballet. When she was 15, she got a job
as an actor. She made her first film when she was 17. She made
famous films like G-Force and Pirates of the Caribbean. Now Cruz is
also a model and a clothes designer. But she still dances.
