Grounds of appeal
Please give your grounds of appeal.
Your grounds should explain why you think decision, act or notice (or failure to decide or act) is wrong. You
may find it helpful to refer to individual paragraphs in the decision or notice you disagree with and explain
why you disagree with them. If required, please use an extra sheet of paper.
The Public interest arguments in favour of confirming or denying (paragraph 26 Decision Notice)
Consideration has been given on the assumption that the information would serve solely my
personal interest. There is in reality a much wider public interest if confirming or denying
provided evidence that HMCTS had lied. It is suspected for very good reasons that HMCTS staff
I have dealt with are very much lacking in the honesty department and that should not be hidden
from the public.
The following representations which more accurately reflect the personal (and public) interest
are not reproduced in Commissioner's Decision Notice:
'I would like the MoJ to consider whether the public interest is better served by disclosing the
information, knowing that a person who has been dealing with the body believes that on the
balance of probabilities he is being lied to, and the disclosure may help provide a solution as to
whether there are grounds for that belief.'
Outcome of appeal
Please tell us what outcome you are seeking from your appeal
The Tribunal will decide where any hearing takes place. The Tribunal will take into account any preference of
the parties in deciding where to hold a hearing. But other factors may have a bearing on the location and type
of hearing, including the likely length of the hearing, the availability of HMCTS venues and the need to make
economical use of judicial resources.
If your preference is for the hearing to be in a particular town or city please state it here. Please also give
an estimate of how long you think the hearing might last.
Parties will be informed in writing by post or email as soon as the hearing date has been set.
