I am writing to learn more about the position of a 2nd Grade teacher at William B. Cruise Memorial
School No. 11. I read about the description online and about the school on the Passaic Board of
Education website. I would like to apply for the position.
I am currently a freshmen at Montclair State University and will graduate in about four years. Since my
senior year in high school, I have wanted to have a career as an elementary school teacher. During my
senior year of high school, I worked in my school as an Aftercare employee and a Summer Camp
employee. I really enjoyed teaching and helping students learn as well as taking care of them. Ive
attached my rsum which will explain more of my background experience.
