Assalamualaikum wbt.
First and foremost we are grateful to Allah because give us a chance to finished
our community service project. We also would like to thank to our inspiration
facilitator Puan Hajah Norlia bt Haji Ismail for the valuable guidance and advice.
She inspired us greatly to work in this project.
Besides, we would like to thank to Pertubuhan Kebajikan & Pendidikan Nur
Kasih for providing us with a good co-operation, environment and facilities to
complete this project.
Our biggest gratitude goes to Principle of Pertubuhan Kebajikan & Pendidikan
Nur Kasih Tuan Haji Zubir bin Haji Omar as he provide every information needed
to accomplish this assignment.
Finally, an honorable mention goes to all friends in the group for their
understandings and supports in completing this project. Without workgroup of the
particular that mentioned above, we would face many difficulties while doing this
project. The hardworks of our committee members are symbolize the power of
teamwork and good co-operation each other were essential to this seminar.

INTRODUCTION
We from The Sixth Heart Group for course MGT 538 Personal Development and
Ethics have done Selami Hati Volunteer Programs. Special thank to our facilitator for
guide and advice us to complete this community service project.

For information, the mission for this project is towards producing quality young
leaders and united. The participants of this community project are involve e-Pjj
students who taking MGT538 course with co-operation from Residence at Pertubuhn
Kebajikan & Pendidikan Nur Kasih.
In addition, the main objective to strengthen the ties amongst the student with the
orphans and between group members and also positive impact can create the sense
of responsibility and sensitivity towards community surround us.
Furthermore, by participating in community service, children and teenagers are
introduced to good values and morals. Values such as humbleness, gratefulness,
honesty, sincerity and respect are among the important virtues that one can acquire
from helping the community. The importance of community service eventually relies
on how the provider perceives it. These programs are intended to inculcate a sense
of community and civic engagement in people. The more hours people spend doing
community work, the more the service will help them in realizing their educational,
social and developmental goals.

OBJECTIVE
1.

To increase level of awareness and leadership among UiTM Student

toward social responsibilities.

To fulfill subject requirement MGT538.

To create the sense of responsibility and sensitivity towards community
surrounds us.

To build good relationships and team work between students.

To enhance students learning by enabling them to practice skills
and
knowledge through related service experience in the local
community.

To help raise fund and donation to afford their daily spending and
education needed.

To instill positive value and giving back the helping hand to the
community.

PROGRAM INFORMATION
1.1 Programme Introduction
In line with the vision and mission of being a faculty in education and human capital
development in the field of Management and Business, we plan to hold a community
service activites at Pertubuhan Kebajikan & Pendidikan Nur Kasih, Klang Selangor.
This program aims to provide exposure, the opportunity to gain experience and
enhance knowledge undergraduate students who excel in developing character
through self-development modules through course Personal Development and
Ethics (MGT 538).
Besides that, the program is run with the aim of fostering a spirit of cooperation and
solidarity among university students in community programme and charitable
activities, to motivate inmates Pertubuhan Kebajikan & Pendidikan Nur Kasih by
study visits and raise funds to cover the cost of providing facilities and daily costs.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, this program is designed as to create awareness and to expose the

Personal Development and Ethics (MGT 538) course student with social responsibilities
and to improve their leadership skills and technique. A persons personal development
sometimes can only be developed or seen been when such programs like organizing a
seminar is imposed on student. Furthermore, besides being able to learn the many
aspects of human relation skills, the participants also get to benefit from the
informative topics presented by the external speaker. Students also get to improve on
their personal development skills by sharing the work tasks given and working with one
another in trying to get them done. A lot of patience, coorperation and understanding are
required in carrying out this task. Thus, an approved budget is required in order to make
this program a successful one. Students will also get to learn to organize an event and to
work within budget.

This program to be realized is dedicated to the students who take the subject MGT 538
'PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT and ETHICS',Business Management Faculty and Institut
Pendidikan NEO (INED) is important for undergraduates to better understand more about
these techniques in the development of a superior personality in producing the ideal
young leaders. Therefore, the initiative to organize this program can be seen to familiarize
undergraduates with the natural reality of real life of solidarity and cooperation.
A successful individual is one who not only know the in and out of management within the
organization but he is also able to reach out to the surrounding community to address the
problems faced by them.
