III. Mandatos Afirmativos y Negativos con TAffirmative & Negative Informal Commands (Texto pp. 26 & 36)
In Spanish, to tell someone TO DO something, use the AFFIRMATIVE COMMAND form.
The Affirmative Commands are the same as the third person singular of the present tense.

V. Saber vs. ConocerThe verbs to know (Texto pp. 52, 76)
The verbs saber and conocer both mean TO KNOW. Conjugate them in the present tense to agree with subject.

Use saber to say that you know a fact or a piece of information, like data.
Use conocer to say whether you know or are familiar with people, places or things.

In Spanish, the verbs ser and estar both mean TO BE. Conjugate them in the present tense to agree with subject.
Use ser to express characteristics that do NOT change. It is the PERMANENT verb to be
