The Louvre History

The Louvre was originally built as a fortress in
the late 12th century under King Philip ll. The
museum opened August 10th 1783.

Centre Georges Pompidou is a complex building
in the Beaubourg area of the 4th arrondissement

Construction started in 1971
It is known for the structure of the building more

The architects were: Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers,
Gianfranco Franchini, Peter Rice, and Mike
Davies.

EIFFEL TOWER HISTORY

The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffels
company for the 1889 worlds fair. The world
fair was a celebration which was hosted by
Paris to celebrate 100 years after the French
Revolution.
