SUMMARY OF THE INTERNSHIP

The vision of the Firm Sundaraswamy and Ramdas is a well-established and reputed full
service law firm in Bangalore, India, dedicated to providing honest and practical solutions
in areas of civil, corporate, labour and commercial law to an extensive clientele comprising
individuals, businesses, companies, corporate houses and public sector banks and
industries.

During the course of my internship the advocate in charge of the interns explained me
about the concerned laws i.e. Indian Contract Act, 1872, Arbitration and Conciliation Act ,
1996, Companies Act, 2013, Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, Hindu Succession Act,1956,
Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Karnataka state amendment).Real Estate (Regulation and
Development) Act, 2016,Right to Information Act, 2005.

I was also provided with an opportunity to attend court proceeding as a part of my


internship.
I was also thought about how to draft pleadings, written statement, objections, lease deed,
Non-Disclosure agreement, Material Transfer Agreement etc.

OBJECTIVES

OBJECTIVES OF THE FIRM:


Sundarswamy & Ramdas aim at extending to each of our clients the best possible personal
attention and legal guidance after careful consideration of all available options, while at the
same time preserving the elements of a personalized traditional legal advisor-client
relationship. Our goal is to achieve complete client satisfaction by ensuring attention to
detail while adhering to stringent ethical standards

By having the above said objectives I researched and learnt about the advantages as well as
the lacuna in the Acts.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INTERNSHIP:


The objective of my internship was to learn the preparation of documents related to the
Firms business, research of case laws and other related aspects in order to improve my
skill. During my internship I have developed my drafting and researching skills. Ive also
gained basic knowledge on practical aspects of Personal laws, Arbitration proceedings and
Civil Laws.

INFERENCE

During my internship I made an analysis on various facets of law in Litigation and NonLitigation matter. Ive analyzed that how the Firm handle their litigation matters, nonLitigation matters and corporate matters with equal and undivided focus on them in order
to maintain a clear legal record of the company.

FINDINGS

In my due course of internship I found that there are various facets of law in a corporate
sector. Ive analyzed that how the companies handle their litigation matters, non-Litigation
matters and corporate matters with equal and undivided focus on them in order to maintain
a clear legal record of the company.

PERSONAL LEARNING

During my course of internship, I learnt about the functioning of the Legal Firm. I got to
learn about few laws which I could not learn in entirety in my syllabus due to time
constraints and various other reasons. I also got practical exposure to various legal facets
and working of the court.

CONCLUSION

In due course of my internship, I came across many new facts, laws and procedures which
were unknown to me and which will be of paramount utilization and importance in the long
run as a legal professional.
This internship aided me in knowing various possibilities, grounds and technicalities of
different cases. I personally have learnt provisions, laws, enactments which were included
in the cases I went through.
