confronting with many problems ranging from
domestic violence to overall social injustice and
abuse in the society.

neglected and
marginalized segment

population of children
under the age of 5,
suffering from
malnutrition. About 63
percent of children
between 6 months and 3 years have stunted growth
and 42 percent are anemic or underweight, and that
has ultimately forced to the innocent children into
hosting different deadly diseases. Therefore,
mortality ratio has increased at the large scale in
children especially in the rural areas of Pakistan.
Poverty, bad drinking water, physical and sexual
abuse and child trafficking are among the areas
where society and the government have bitterly
failed to have good for children.
Education
Education is indeed only way to get rid of all
other social malaise of the society, and take the
nation to the path of socio-economic development.
Therefore, the developed countries have had special
attention on their education sector. But like other
developing countries, in Pakistan education sector
is the most ignored social sector. No sustained and

the child and women community in the rural and
remote areas.

society has strongly condemned and taken action
against violent trends in the society against the

place more in the rural community as compare to the
urban areas. Domestic violence is a routine and
internal matter of the family in the rural areas of
the country, no matter how much it is a serious

girls. Out of these 3.3 million, 71 percent work
mainly in unskilled occupations related to
agriculture, sales, mining, construction,
manufacturing and transport sector. It is also

work with them for

hotel bureaus, hair cutting, and other such type
hard and labouring work, where they suffered a lot
physically as well as emotionally. It is observed
that the employees of the children used to abuse
and insults them, on the minor lapses in their
duties. However, these innocent children used to be
on disposal of their employees on twenty-four hours
at any time the employees assigned them task, no
matter that one would easily be carried out or not.

our society.
It is need of time to work collectively for the
elimination of child labour especially in the rural
areas of the country, where a large number of
children are involved in bonded labouring, but none
is their to help them to come out from this mess.
