Understanding the Research Flaws

After a thorough analysis and comprehension of the comments and

suggestions made by the professor. It became apparent that the main
weakness of the research was the lack of personal involvement and opinion.
The research was comprehensive of the subject being addressed, however, it
only stated quotes and statistical findings of the researches whose works
were cited with very little elaboration of the topic or detailed discussions of
the findings. This in turn made the research weak and did not show the
writers own level of writing or intellectual discussion abilities.
Furthermore, many of the comments made by the professor showed
that she wanted a detailed explanation of each of the findings and its
relation to the sub-topic being addressed at hand. For example, some of the
statistics that were listed in the research were only placed as per their
relevance to the topic and not the entire subject group that was surveyed.
This shows incomprehensiveness of the research and consequently can
disinterest the reader and discourage them from continuing to read the
research.

Additionally, one of the points addressed as a sub-topic had incomplete

information in regard to its importance to child abuse and neglect. The point

was not expressed vividly enough and all the information depicted were
delivered by direct quotes and paraphrases from other cited work.

On the other hand, all the above mentioned mistakes after being
acknowledged and their importance recognized in the formation of the
research, shall be implemented in order to improve the overall structure of
the topic at hand. The sub-topics addressed shall be explored deeply and my
personal opinion and discussion of the research findings will accompany each
of the statistical findings that are mentioned within the body of the research.
Furthermore, no personal opinions or moral statements will be included in
the paper as it shows a weak structure and decreases the professionalism of
the paper.

The comments made also illustrated the need to clarify the evidence
that is being put to support various statements within the research, for
example, some statements have the evidence being incomplete or missing
vital dates or key aspects that support the statement being addressed such
as the introductory statement of the sub-topic of sexual abuse.

Finally, the overall organization of the research paper was in-coherent

as the presentation of the ideas and the places for the case studies

addressed were not placed in order. This will ultimately cause confusion
among the readers and the vital key points that needs to be stressed among
each case study shall go unrecognized, which will in turn downgrade the
quality of the paper.
