Designing Work Organizations (DWO)

GROUP PROJECTProject Assignment


Every team will develop a research project proposal (based on Primary Data) to
be converted in to a Case of their own choice under the broader topics of DWO
The team has to submit a one page project proposal outlining about the topic, a
very brief intro, objectives of the study and the methodology by September 26,
2016 (5.00 PM) to the faculty. The study would be a real life problem of the
organisation and the way the organisation is dealing/dealt with. The group has to
come out with issue and solution w.r.t. the case. (Please. check within the class
that there should not be any duplication of project work).
This assignment will have maximum 20 % weight and the final project reporting
in the Case Format has to be submitted by November 21, 2016 (9.00 PM).
Components of the Course Project

Written Report A written report in the case format will be due from each group
as stated above. On average, the report should be about 25 to 30 pages in length,
plus appendices.
In Class Presentation An oral presentation will be made in the class. The
purpose of the presentation should be to inform the class members of your
findings & conclusions.

This is a highly interactive real life real life project which requires a high degree of
analysis and tangible recommendations. Your group is required to identify a company as

Project Proposal Format (One page only)Your project should include following:

Final Report FormatThe final report (Maximum 8 pages; Times New Roman, 12 font size, 1.5 spacing) has
to be prepared and submitted in the format encompassing the areas mentioned;
