Introduccin
Bienvenido a la red de usuarios de productos SURiX Porteros Telefnicos!
El producto que Ud. ha adquirido, es parte de una importante lnea de productos y
sistemas de comunicaciones de SURIX S.R.L. para el hogar, la oficina, sistemas
multifamiliares para edificios y barrios cerrados y sistemas de llamada a enfermera para
hospitales.

Descripcin General
El SURiX iP Access, es un Portero IP, inteligente y manos libres, que se conecta como
interno IP de una central telefnica IP (IP PBX), ya sea en red local o de broad works.
Posee relays de contacto seco para abrir hasta dos puertas u otras aplicaciones
(encender y apagar luces, calefaccin, etc), desde cualquier lugar.
La programacin del SURiX iP Access se hace a travs de una pgina web interna (webserver), a la que se accede con cualquier navegador internet standard. Si no estuviera en
un entorno de red, puede conectarle un patch cord UTP cruzado.

Instalacin
Proceda con la instalacin del producto, de acuerdo al tipo de producto que Ud. adquiri.
Presentacin: Caja de embutir
Extraiga el tornillo de la puntera plstica inferior
(la foto corresponde a la caja de montaje exterior )

Deslice el frente del producto hacia abajo, y

separe el frente de la caja plstica de embutir
ATENCIN: la caja de embutir tiene una orientacin
de montaje, no la invierta.
La caja de embutir tiene zonas debilitadas para el
ingreso de los cables; perfore la que corresponda
Fije la caja a la pared, en el hueco realizado para
alojarla
Ingrese los cables de alimentacin y UTP a la caja

Conecte los cables a la placa (ver seccin siguiente)

Vuelva a fijar la tapa a la caja de embutir, comenzando por calzar el tornillo superior
y, empujando, ligeramente, hacia arriba, coloque el tornillo de la puntera inferior.

Presentacin: Montaje exterior

Extraiga el tornillo de la puntera plstica inferior

Retire la puntera plstica inferior, deslizando hacia abajo.

Separe la tapa del frente de la caja plstica de montaje

exterior. Las trabas de la caja que traban la tapa, son
bastante resistentes, si es necesario, haga presin
entre la caja y la tapa del frente, con el mismo destornillador que retir el tornillo.
Fije la caja a la pared, usando los agujeros de fijacin

Ingrese los cables de alimentacin y UTP a la caja

Conecte los cables a la placa (ver seccin siguiente)

Vuelva a fijar la tapa a la caja de embutir, comenzando por volver a calzar la tapa
de frente en la caja y, luego, coloque el tornillo de la puntera inferior.

Conexionado
1. Colocar el cable de Ethernet en el conector RJ45 (CN12)
2. Conectar una fuente de alimentacin 12 Vca/cc - 1 A, en la bornera CN1.
La polaridad de la conexin es indistinta.
3. Si hay circuito abrepuerta (con alimentacin externa), pasar ese circuito por la
bornera CN13 que es un contacto normal abierto, que se cierra cuando se recibe la
orden corresp.

Programacin
El iP Access tiene un web server interno que responde en el puerto 8085.
La programacin de parmetros configurables del iP Access se realiza mediante un
navegador web (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc).
Con el arranque inicial, el iP Access tiene la direccin IP 10.0.0.100, de manera que, para
entrar en programacin, en la barra de direcciones del navegador colocar:
http://10.0.0.100:8085
NOTAS:
Si su red no contempla ese rango de direcciones, puede alternar,
momentneamente, la configuracin de la computadora desde la que va a
programar el equipo, quitndole DHCP y colocando una direccin fija en el rango
de la direccin del iP Access
Si lo quiere programar sin estar en una red, puede hacerlo, teniendo en cuenta la
direccin (punto anterior) y, adems, colocando, entre la computadora y el
iP Access, un patch cord UTP cruzado.

El iP Access debe responder con la pantalla de ingreso de clave de programacin:

El botn Manual On Line est disponible en todos los menes y (si se tiene acceso a
internet), al presionarlo, se abre otra ventana del navegador, con acceso a este manual en
formato pdf. Se puede bajar al disco de la computadora o mirar on line
La clave de fbrica es: sx1234
NOTAS:
Si se hubiese alterado la programacin o la misma se desconoce, siga la siguiente
secuencia de reinicio, que permite trabajar con los valores de fbrica: direccin IP
del equipo y clave de programacin (los valores programados de IP y clave,
permanecen tal como estaban, el puente slo fija temporariamente esos valores)
Apagar el equipo
Colocar un puente entre los contactos
1 y 2 del conector como indica la figura
Encender el equipo
Ingresar en programacin en el
URL http://10.0.0.100:8085 con
la clave sx1234
Modificar los parmetros de programacin deseados
Apagar el equipo
Retirar el puente entre los contactos
indicado en el punto b
Encender el equipo

La programacin est vigente durante 10 minutos, aproximadamente, si pasa ms

tiempo sin que se ingresen comandos, el equipo sale automticamente de
programacin y hay que reingresar la clave para volver a programar.

Una vez en programacin, el equipo muestra la siguiente pantalla de Men Principal

El men principal muestra los parmetros que, ms usualmente, requieren alterarse.

Al pie, pueden verse dos botones que solamente, estn en el men principal:
REBOOT:
Reinicia el equipo (se debe recargar la direccin en el navegador manualmente).
Siga este procedimiento para que el equipo recargue la direccin IP, si es que esta
fue modificada A excepcin de la direccin IP, el resto de los parmetros, son
cambiados inmediatemente en el equipo cuando se lo reprograma

RESTAURA:
Recarga todos los valores de programacin de fbrica (excepto la direccin IP)

Todos los menes funcionan de la misma manera; son tablas con dos tipos de filas:
Elementos a programar
Links a otros submenes
Los Elementos a programar muestran, en fondo amarillo, la descripcin del elemento a
programar y, a su lado, con formato de link, el valor actual del parmetro. Clickeando en
ese link, se visualiza la pantalla que permite su reprogramacin.
Por ejemplo.

En el cuadro de texto (o lista desplegable, segn el caso) se puede:

escribir (o seleccionar) el nuevo valor y presionar el botn Programar
(se puede ver que se especifican los valores mximo y mnimo), o
presionar el botn Volver para volver al men anterior, o
presionar el botn Men principal para volver al men principal.

En el submen: Parmetros de Comunicacin pueden verse los siguientes elementos a

Prmetros que utilizar el iP Access para su comunicacin.

Direccin de este equipo (iP Access)
Es la direccin IP que tendr el iP Access para todas las comunicaciones IP.
Su valor por defecto es 10.0.0.100 . Si se cambia esta direccin, los prximos accesos al
webserver de programacin, debern hacerse a: http://nueva_direccin:8085
Puerto UDP protocolo SIP Origen
Es el nmero de puerto UDP que utiliza el iP Access en el protocolo SIP.
Clave login de iP Access en IP PBX
Es la clave con la que el iP Access se registra en la central IP PBX si se requiere su
registracin.

Nro interno de este equipo (iP Access)

Es el Nro de interno que el iP Access tendr para la central IP PBX (si es que est
conectado a una central IP)
Dir IP de IP PBX
Verificar que la direccin IP del iP Access y la de la IP PBX estn en el mismo rango o sea
alcanzable.
Puerto de IP PBX
Nro de puerto en que la IP PBX atender el requerimiento de comunicacin del iP Access
Nro mnimo de rango de puertos UDP
Nro mximo de rango de puertos UDP
Estos parmetros pueden tener que setearse cuando, si el router de la red, filtra los
paquetes RTP por puerto (la norma prevee que pueda suceder).
Mscara de sub-red
Define el rango de direcciones de la red
Dir IP Gateway
Si hay un gateway intermedio
Dominio IP PBX
Para centrales hosteadas o sistemas broadworks
Tiempo Expiracin (en minutos) Registro Servicio SIP
Es el tiempo negociado con la central IP PBX.
IMPORTANTE: Se aconseja no aumentar este valor

Cantidad mxima de dgitos de discado

El iP Access puede originar una llamada de tres formas diferentes:
Discar un Nro de interno (si est conectado a una IP PBX)
Llamar a una IP directa, o
Llamar a un Nro de interno discado por el usuario (como en un telfono comn).
En ese ltimo caso, el iP Access cierra el discado por tiempo (4 segundos) o cantidad de
dgitos (que se corresponden con el plan de numeracin de la IP PBX).
Accin de tecla n / Pulsador n
El iP Access puede estar equipado con:
Teclado telefnico
Pulsadores simples (1 o 2)
Teclado telefnico y Pulsadores simples
El teclado telefnico tiene las teclas, 0 a 9, * (asterisco) y # (numeral)
La accin de todas las teclas y pulsadores es programable de igual manera:
Tecla simple
genera el discado de un dgito (como en un telfono comn) que servir para
componer un Nro de interno.
Llama dir a extensin
Dispara la llamada directa (un toque) a un Nro de interno
Llama directo a IP
Dispara la llamada directa (un toque) a una direccin IP.
Eso es lo que se programa con el parmetro Accin de tecla n (o Pulsador n)
Luego de programada la accin de la tecla o pulsador, se programa el elemento
Programacin Tecla n / Pulsador n que define qu dgito, Nro de interno o dir de IP
dispara esa tecla o pulsador.
Para la programacin del dgito discado, se usan los valores 0 a 9 para los nmeros y el
valor 10 para el * (asterisco) y 11 para el # (numeral) en caso de que se requiera que el
iP Access disque estos valores.

En el submen: Claves pueden verse los siguientes elementos a programar.

Clave Administrador
Es la clave que se usa para entrar en programacin. Si se extrava, se puede entrar en
programacin con el procedimiento descripto en la nota 3
Clave apertura de puerta 1
Es lo que el usuario disca en el interno que est en comunicacin con el iP Access para
accionar el relay abre puerta Nro 1.
Clave apertura de puerta 2
Es lo que el usuario disca en el interno que est en comunicacin con el iP Access para
accionar el relay abre puerta Nro 2.
Clave login de iP Access en IP PBX
Es la clave con la que el iP Access se registra en la central IP PBX si se requiere su
registracin.

En el submen: Status del iP Access pueden verse los siguientes elementos.

El color rojo del valor de los elementos, indica que no es posible alterarlos por
programacin, es decir, son valores de slo lectura.
Ocupado (en conversacin o llamando)
Si el iP Access estuviera, en ese momento, cursando una llamada (o recibindola), el
valor estar en On, de lo contrario, en situacin de resposo, est en Off.
Registrado en central IP PBX
Muestra si est registrado en la central IP PBX cuyos datos figuran en el men
Parmetros de Comunicacin.
NOTA: Esta ventana de submen, no se renueva automticamente. Debe recargar la
pgina en su navegador, para obtener valores actualizados.

Introduction
Welcome to users network of SURiX Door Phone products!
The product you purchased, is part of an important line of products and communication
sistems of SURIX S.R.L. for home, office, multifamily sistems for buildings and gated
communities and nurse call for hospitals.

General Description
The SURiX iP Access is an IP Door Phone , intelligent and hands free, that connects like
IP extension of an IP PBX, either on local network , or broad works.
It has 2 contact relays to open up to two doors or other applications (turn on and off lights,
heating, etc), from any place.
The programming of the SURiX iP Access is done through an internal webpage (webserver), which is accessible from any internet standard browser. If you are not in a network
environment, you can connect an UTP crossover patch cord .

Installation
Proceed with the product installation, according to the product purchased.
Model: Flush mount
Remove the screw from the botton plastic part
(the picture shows the external mounting box )

Slide down the front cover of the product and separate

the cover of the wallbox
ATTENTION: The wallbox has a mounting orientation,
DO NOT reverse it.
The wallbox has weakened areas for the entrance of
wires; drill the correct one.
Set the box to the wall into the hole made to
accommodate it.
Enter the power wires and UTP into the box.

Connect the wires to the connectors on the circuit (see next section)

Reset the cover to the wallbox, beginning with fitting the top screw and, pushing
gently upwards, put the screw of the botton plastic part.

Model: Surface mount

Remove the screw from the botton plastic part.

Remove the botton plastic part by sliding down it.

Separate the front cover of the external mounting plastic

box. The hobbles of the box that lock the cover, are quite
hard. If necessary, make pressure between the box and
the front cover with the same screwdriver used to remove
the screw.
Set the box to the wall using the fixing holes

Enter the power wires and UTP into the box.

Connect the wires to the connectors on the circuit (see next section)

Reset the cover to the wallbox, beginning with refitting the front cover in the box and
then, put the screw of the botton plastic part.

4. Put the wire to Ethernet in the RJ45 connector (CN12)
5. Connect a power source of 12 Vac/dc - 1 A at CN1 terminal block.
The polarity of the connection is indistinct.
6. If there is an open door circuit (with external power), pass this circuit through the
CN13 terminal block , is a normal open contact , that closes when it receives the
corresponding signal.

Programming
The iP Access has a internal web server that response in the 8085 port.
The programming of configurable parameters of the iP Access can be done through a
web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc).
With the initial boot, the iP Access has the IP address 10.0.0.100, so, to access to
programming, enter the following address in the browser address bar:
http://10.0.0.100:8085
NOTES:
If your network does not include those address ranges, you can switch,
momentarily, the computer configuration that will program the product, removing
DHCP and writing a fixed address in the address range of the iP Access.
If you want to program it out of a network environment, you can do it, taking into
account the address (previous item) and, also, installing a crossover patch cord
UTP between the computer and the iP Access.

The iP Access will response with the programming password entry screen:

The On Line Manual button is available in all menus and (if you have internet access),
when pressed, opens a new web window with access to this manual in pdf format. You can
download to the computer hard disk or watch it on line.
The factory default password is: sx1234
NOTES:
If the programming had been changed or it is unknown, follow the next restart sequence,
that allow to work with the factory default settings: IP address and programming password
(the programmed IP values and password, remain unchanged, the
jumper only set temporarily those values)
Shutdown the product
Place a jumper between the connector contacts
1 and 2 as shown in the picture
Switch on the product
Enter in the URL programming
http://10.0.0.100:8085 with the
password sx1234
Modify the desired programming parameters
Shutdown the product
Remove the jumper between the contacts
indicated in point b)
Switch on the product
Programming mode is active for about 10 minutes, if this period is exceeded without
entering commands , the product will exit automatically the programming mode and
you have to reenter the password to program again.

The main men shows the parameters that most often use to be modified. At the bottom
you can see two buttons that only are in the main menu:

4. REBOOT:
Restart the product (address of iP Access must be reloaded manually in the
browser). Follow this procedure to allow the product reload IP address, if it was
modified. Except for IP address, the rest of the parameters, are immediately
changed on the product when it is programmed
5. RESTORE:
Reload all factory default settings (except the IP address)
All menues work the same way: they are tables with two types of rows:
Elements to programm
Links to others submenues
The Elements to programm shows, on yellow background, the description of the element
to programm and next column (in the same row), with link format, the actual value of the
parameter. Clicking on this link, you can see the screen that allow reprogramming.
For example:

In the text box (or drop-down list) you can:

Write (or select) the new value and push the button Program
(you can see that the maximum and minimum values are specified), or
Push the Back button to return to previous menu, or
Push the Main Menu button to return to the main menu.
Links to other menues lead to submenues of elements to program grouped by concept.

Parameters that will be used by IP Access for the comunication.

My IP address (iP Access)
Is the IP address that will have the IP Access for all IP communications.
Its value by default is 10.0.0.100 . If you change this address, the following accesses to
programming webserver, will have direct to: http://new_address:8085
My UDP SIP Port
Is the UDP port number that use the iP Access for the SIP protocol.
Login password of iP Access in IP PBX
Is the password that uses iP Access to log at the IP PBX, if its registration is required.
My extension # (iP Access)
It is the extension number of iP Access at the IP PBX (if it is connected to an IP PBX)
IP Address of IP PBX
IP addresses of iP Access and IP PBX must belong to the same range.

Port number at which the IP PBX will listen communication requirements of iP Access

These parameters should be setted if the router of local netowork filter RTP packages by
port (the standard provides that it might happen).

If there is an intermediate gateway

For hosted IP PBX or broadworks sistems
Time out (in minutes) SIP registration
Is the negotiated registration time with the IP PBX.
IMPORTANT: is strongly recommended not to increase this value

Maximum number of dialed digits

iP Access can originate a call in three different ways:
Dial to an extension number (if it is connected to an IP PBX)
Call directly to an IP address, or
Call to an extension number dialed by user (like a common telephone)
In the last case, the iP Access ends the dialing by time (4 seconds) or when the maximum
number of dialed digits is reached (which corresponds to the extensions numbering plan of
the IP PBX).
Action of key X or button X
The iP Access can be equipped with:
Telephone keypad
Simple buttons (1 or 2)
Telephone keypad and simple buttons
The telephone keypad has the keys , 0 to 9, * (asterisk) and # (pound)
The action of all keys and buttons is programmable in the same way:
Digit
Generates a one digit dialing (like in a common telephone) which will serve to
compose an extension number.
Call to extension
Shoots the call directly (one touch) to an extension number
Call to IP address
Shoots the call directly (one touch) to an IP address.
This is what you program with the Action of key X or Button X element to program.
After programming the action of the key or button , you have to progam the element
Prog Key X / Button X : define which digit, extension number or IP address generates
this key or button.
For programming of the dialing digits, the values 0 to 9 are used to numbers, 10 value for
the * (asterisk) and 11 for the # (pound)

In the submenu: Passwords you can see the following elements to program:

Administrator Password
Is the password necessary to enter in programming mode. If it is lose, you can enter to
programming mode following the procedure described in note 3.
Opening door 1 password
Is the number the user (that is on the telephone at in the extension that is communicated
with the iP Access) dials, to activate the contact relay 1
Opening door 2 password
Is the number the user (that is on the telephone at in the extension that is communicated
with the iP Access) dials, to activate the contact relay 2
Login password of iP Access in IP PBX
Is the password with which the iP Access registrates at IP PBX if registration is required.

The submenu: iP Access Status contains the following elements

The red color of the value indicates that is NOT possible to change it by programming, it
means that is a read only value.
Busy (in call)
If the iP Access were, at this moment, calling out or receiving a call, the value
will be On, otherwise, at idle situation, will be Off.
Registered i IP PBX
Shown the registration status in the IP PBX whose information appears in the menu
Comunication Parameters.
NOTE: This submenu window does not refres automatically. You must reload the webpage
in your browser to update values.
