1.1 This project covers project design, equipment and material supply, transportation to
Pakistan port, installation & commissioning of the whole project. It comprises of one
45t/h, 3.82Mpa, 450 CFB biomass fired boiler its auxiliaries equipment and material
as well as 6MW extraction condensing steam turbine and 6MW generator with their
auxiiaries and material.

The Seller is responsible for the transportation of equipment and material for this
project to Pakistan Port. The Buyer shall be responsible for the loading, unloading and
transport of the equipment from the said Port to the job site and provide the warehouse
and office free of charge. The hostel for the Sellers personnel at job site shall be born
by the Buyer (Owner).

Article 4 DCS Control System and Instrumentation

4.1 Introduction to Control System
DCS
This control system including distributed control system (DCS) in thermal process
control system of boiler and deaerator, and electrical control systems for thermal process
detection, control instrumentation.
The system contains

All software and hardware of DCS, working station, DCS channel insulation cabinet,
thermal operational panel (standby) and power distributor of thermal control system including
UPS.

All pressure and pressure differential transmitters in thermal detection and control
system, flow-meters, thermocouples, thermal resistances, electrical or pneumatic control
valves, electrical or pneumatic actuators, zirconia oxygen meter, pressure meters etc.
4.1.3 MCC
All switch cabinets, MCC cabinets, operation panels on the site and maintenance power
boxes on the site.

DCS has adopted a set of AC800F thermal backup redundant system from ABB
Company, which will carry out a centralized monitoring on thermal processes of boiler, (as
well as steam turbine), deaerator and other utilities and electrical equipment. AC800F system
is one of the IT family nominated by the latest technology in ABB company, which has fully
considered the different requirements in the control field to enable customer to achieve max
automation at a min cost. In order to realize the monitoring stability of process and to achieve
a high production efficiency, AC800F has strong redundant functions including effective
redundancy of system bus-bar, controller, I/O module, site bus-bar & main equipment, site
bus-bar circuit, HIS communication to greatly increase the safety of product and to avoid the
shutdown of production. AC800F has open and flexible communication technology and high
efficient programming tools, which allows to select equipment of various bus-bars e.g.
ProfiBus DPFoundation FidldBusModBusInterBusCANbus-barHARTetc.and the
programming tools of high efficiency enables that one set of tool software is sufficient to
support the hardware configuration, software programming, commissioning and diagnosis of
whole project. It is also able to set the configuration and parameters for bus-bas I/O and site
intelligent equipment through GSD or FDT/DTM mode and the system also has the functions
of real-time diagnosis of integrated controller and equipment, automatic establishment of
operational display panel (screen), bus-bas agreement parameters allocation, addressing on
line and equipment scanning.

The system is composed of 2 sets of redundant AC800F controller and S800 I/O
station. The main controller realizes its thermal back-up redundant function through the
communication by main bus-bar with its standby controller and I/O system. Once there is a
fault on main controller or in communication, all control functions will be stably switched to the
standby controller to ensure the normal operation of boiler system. S800 I/O is a kind of
economic, flexible, reliable I/O station of distribution type and its structure is of module type,
DIN guide installed, and is easy installed and maintained as well.

5.1 Technical Information
5.1.1
A complete set of information accompanied with all the equipment shall be

supplied including: Operational Manual, Product Certificate, Accompanied Drawing (if
any), and Quality Certificate of Boiler. The accompanied information, as the erection
datum, shall be kept by the Sellers Installation Team after unpacking and be handed
over to the Buyer after the completion of the project.

Technical Service
5.2.1
After the signature of the Contract, the Sellers Design Institute shall send
specialist as soon as possible to the project locations for information collection and
communication.

The quality issues appearing in the project shall be treated in accordance with the
stipulations in the Contact.
