Ligaments of the Uterus

A. Broad ligament: Holds the uterus in place in the pelvis


B. Suspensory ligament of the ovary: Fold of peritoneum covering ovarian
blood vessels
C. Round ligament of the uterus: Prevents posterior displacement of the
uterus
