Admissions for Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Non
Resident Indians (NRIs) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) under Direct
AdmissionforStudentsAbroad(DASA)forUndergraduateProgrammesforthe
Academic year 201718 at International Institute of Information Technology,
Hyderabad, India. Those seeking admission under this mode have to apply
onlineseparatelyforIIIT,Hyderabad.
Please note that there is a change in the eligibility criteria from the
academicyear201718onwards.

TheneweligibilitycriteriaarethatSATandSATSubjectTestsScoresare
mandatorytoapplyandthosescoresshouldarrivebeforethelastdateof
submission of online application form. The essay part of SAT is not
required.

Eligibility:
Applicantsshouldhavecompleted12thclassorequivalentbyMay
2017orearlier.Candidateshouldhavescoredatleast60%marks
(or6.0gradeon10pointscale)ineachofPhysics,Chemistry,and
Mathematics

Candidateshouldhaveaminimumaggregatescoreof1600(outof
maximum of 2400) in old format SAT, and also a minimum
aggregatescoreof2000(outofmaximumof2400)inSATSubject
Tests in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Both scores are
mandatory.ScoresofcandidateswritingSATasperthenewformat
will be mapped using concordance tables available from College
Board(USA).

SelectionCriteria:
TheadmissionsthroughDASAfor201718willbethroughtheSATandSAT
SubjectTestsScores.TheprimaryrankingcriterionisthetotalofSATSubject
TestsScoresinMaths,Physics,andChemistry.Allapplicantswillberanked
basedonthetotalmarksfirst.Inthecaseofatieintotalmarks,thefollowing
marks(inthegivenorder)willbeusedtoresolvethesame.
