Anodes
Anode material for the sacrificial anode shall be magnesium based alloy, with
the consumption rate of 8 kg/amp-year and the utilization factor of 0.8.
CONTRACTOR shall submit to SRMD the chemical coposition certificates of
the magnesium alloys, prior to procurement of the material. Chemical
compositions shall conform to Code and Standard as section 1.2. Property
testing of sufficient samples shall be taken as negotiated between SRMD and
CONTRACTOR. Testing will be done in compliance with Test Method G97
and must be done independent laboratiry. Magnesium cast and extrude
derivative shall have a clean surface and commercially free of dirt, slag, or
other foreign material.
CONTRACTOR shall inform the composition of the anode, which is including
but not limited to the utilization factor, electrochemical efficiency, and and
consumption rate.
Anode material is magnesium alloy. Anode type use soil test below 2000 cm using magnesium alloy h1-alloy, but if it more 2000 -cm shall be using
magnesium alloy high potential. This table below is comparation chemical
composition between magnesium alloy h1-alloy and magnesium high
potential.
