BMedSc Year 3 Medical Science Electives in Semester 1

Note:
1. All options are 6 credit points. Codes 39XX are advanced units of study.
2. 24 credit points/semester constitutes a normal full-time enrolment. You need a minimum of
36 credit points of Year 3 electives to be taken from the medical science area, refer to Table
IV in the 2006 Faculty of Science Handbook (see table of options below). The other 12 credit
points can be taken from the list below or from other areas. Ensure that you have 144 credit
points for graduation, see Faculty of Science Handbook.
3. Students can choose any 4 units within a semester. You are advised to check the prerequisites or assumed knowledge before enrolling in a unit of study. There is no requirement
to do a major ie you do not need 24 CP or 2 semesters of units taken from the same
discipline area, but you can choose to do so if you have the necessary pre-requisites.
4. The Information Session will be held on 10th October 12-2pm in Merewether LR5 (Rm 277).
