A PIECE OF DREAM IN BSC FOR INDONESIA

In my honest opinion, its time for Indonesia to produce a world-class scientists. The
problem that occurs today is that Indonesia lack of students who have good ability to be a scientist
in the future. Despite the large numbers of students, Indonesian universities lag behind in
scientific publications compared with other countries in Southeast Asia. Weak English-writing
skills are identified as one of the causal factors of the poor quality of the countrys scientific
publications. Im sure, Indonesia needs to start taking science seriously. I believe that we have still
a chance to make Indonesia better with improve ourself in english and deep understanding about
Science. Bogor Science club is the one organization in my University that can realize my little
dream for Indonesia in the future. Because I have the same vision with BSC that is to Create an
International scientific Communicator. I think that today is future, so if we wanna make a better
future starts it now, before it will become more difficult and BSC is one of the solution to answer
that.
A journey of thousand miles begins from a single step. Although BSC is very young age, I
believe this organization will be our bridge to compete at the International level. Start from little
event but continuously like Scientific Presentation, English debate, Journal workshop, Academic
Writing, Discuss about Sscience, etc. Of course, I think that amazing agenda will increase our skill
in English and improve our science ability and this is one of the reason i love this organization and
hang up piece of my dream in BSC. At least, weve tried to take our role, give the best that we
have for people or student around us. Although just a little bit, we hope that can be a single step to
make our beloved country better with create ourself better. Create a good generation today is
creating better nation in the future.
The first time I knew BSC, I feel the spirit of togetherness in this organization. I think that
spirit would be our power to make this organization more productive, innovative and helpful. I
have a desire this togetherness will continue to exist even though we did not see each other.
Because we've had the same dream in this organization which we consider to be our home, small
dream for Indoensia. The last but not least, I hope that what will be done by BSC will open a lot
of eyes especially young generation that we are left behind from other countries in science and
this organization will fostering the spirit to go ahead.
