Course Objective:
To learn the major initiatives taken by a company's top management on behalf of corporate,
involving resources and performance in external environments. It entails specifying the organization's mission, vision
and objectives, developing policies and plans to understand the analysis and implementation of strategic management in
strategic business units.
The objective of this course is to enable the students to learn the different aspects of the Strategic management, which
has become indispensable in the present-day corporate world. Also, the objective of this course is to develop in the
course-students a clear ability to understand the strategic dimensions and processes involved in the formulation,
implementation and appraisal of business strategies and the importance of corporate governance & CSR.
Course Outcome: This course will create knowledge and understanding of management concepts principles and
skills from people, finance, marketing & organizational perspectives the development of appropriate organizational
policies and strategies within a changing context to meet stake holder interests information systems to learn from
failures key tools and techniques for the analysis and design of information systems, including their human and
organizational as well as technical aspects.
