ANTWERP TOWNSHIP ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

REGULAR MEETING
THURSDAY MAY 24, 2001

Meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairperson Glen Wilkinson

Board Members Present: Margaret Grabbe, Joe Stimac, Gary Stock and Glen Wilkinson.
Board Me mbers Absent: Bonnie Osborne
Also Present: Three guests.
Motion by Stimac, second by Stock to approve the agenda as presented.
Motion carried.

All voted in favor.

Motion by, Stimac second by Grabbe to approve the minutes of the January 25, 2001 meeting as
published. All voted in favor.
Motion carried.
New Business:
Motion by Stock, second by Stimac to approve the request from Van Kal Truck Equipment Inc. to
expand with the following stipulations: 1. Internal building footprints changes are noted on site plan.
2. Variance be obtained from Zoning Board of Appeals. 3. Number of parking spaces be recorded
on site plan. 4. They get all necessary approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals. And 5. That the
strip beyond 500 of Commercial there be no storage of material or no parking in the area associated
with Commercial use. The Zoning Board of Appeals finds that the current use for Van Kal Equipment
Inc. is a legal non-conforming use. Business is located at 24561 Red Arrow Hwy., Mattawan MI.
Property number is 80-02-002-017-00, tax plate number 19, section 2 and zoned Commercial.
Roll call vote: Stimac-yes, Grabbe-yes, Stock-yes and Wilkinson-yes.
Motion carried.
