EXPLORE!!!
Bataan takes great pride in showcasing the natural wealth and diversity of our various tourist
attractions, among which is our long shoreline of pristine beaches and the various habitat that it
nurtures. In cognizance of the concerted effort to preserve our-eco-system, the Provincial
Government and BTCFI had been supporting the community based Bantay Pawikan in
Nagbalayong, Morong.
At the PAWIKAN CONSERVATION CENTER in Morong, native turtles nest and guard
against the extinction of their specie. Aside from this center, the entire Bagac and Morong coasts
are known as nesting grounds of 3 out of the 5 sea turtle species in the country. This includes the
Hawksbill, Olive Ridley and the Green Turtle.
