MARCIA | THE ALIEN | STORY 1

Queridos paps, a continuacin encontraris unas

preguntas y unas respuestas que os ayudarn a seguir
trabajando el ingls en casa. Es importante que tengis
en cuenta que estas preguntas y respuestas no se han
trabajado explcitamente en clase y que no se han pensado
para que vosotros podis comprobar si vuestros hijos han
alcanzado los objetivos de la unidad. Estas preguntas se
han diseado para aquellos padres y madres que nos peds
qu ms podis hacer en casa y cmo podis consolidar y
ampliar todo lo que trabajamos en el aula. Es probable que
vuestros hijos entiendan la mayora de las preguntas y, si las
comprenden, las contestarn a su manera, muchas veces
utilizando una sola palabra. Podis ayudarlos a mejorar y a
enriquecer su nivel de ingls animndolos y entrenndolos
para que respondan con una frase completa, ya sea la que
proponemos u otra igualmente vlida.

PRINCIPIO DEL CUENTO):

Puedes repasar el vocabulario de las diferentes profesiones

que tu hijo/a est aprendiendo. Seala con el dedo cada uno
de los aliens y pregunta a tu hijo/a:

What does this alien want to be when he/she grows

up? He/she wants to be a
Despus, puedes preguntar a tu hijo/a:

What does the (fire fighter, pilot, etc.) do?

Y ayudar a tu hijo/a a responder para cada profesin:

The fire fighter fights fires.

The car mechanic changes tyres.

The hairdresser cuts hair.

The postman brings the mail.

The police officer puts people in jail.

The teacher teaches at the school.

The writer writes books.

The chef cooks in the restaurant.

The waiter asks what people want.

MIRANDO EL INTERIOR DE LA CONTRAPORTADA (AL

FINAL DEL CUENTO):
Aqu se trata de buscar los aliens que estn escondidos en
la habitacin de Marcia. Son fciles de encontrar, lo que no es
tan fcil es usar la preposicin correcta para identificar dnde
se encuentra cada alien. Por ello puedes preguntar a tu hijo/a
dnde estn los aliens de diferentes colores, diciendo:

Where is the blue alien?

Y ayudar a tu hijo/a a responder utilizando las preposiciones

correctas:

The purple alien is under Marcias desk.

The green alien is on Marcias bed.

The blue alien is in Marcias wardrobe.

The yellow and orange alien is next to Marcias

roller skates.
The red alien is between Marcias wardrobe and
the night table.

The pink alien is behind the computer.

The orange alien is in front of Marcias rucksack.

The brown alien is under Marcias bed.

What do you want to be when you grow up? When

I grow up I want to be a .. (mientras seala la
profesin que quiere)

Los nios estn aprendiendo algunas acciones relacionadas

con las profesiones. Para repasar este lenguaje puedes
preguntar a tu hijo/a, mientras sealas a uno de los aliens
con el dedo:

The black alien is between Marcias lamp and alarm

clock.

Despus puedes preguntar sobre los aliens a tu hijo/a para

repasar los nmeros y las partes del cuerpo. Por ejemplo:

How many eyes does the green alien have?

The green alien has five eyes.

Tambin puedes describir un alien y pedir a tu hijo/a que

lo identifique:

Which alien has two legs, one eye, two ears, and
one antenna?
The orange alien has two legs, one eye, two ears,

and one antenna.

Despus de leer el cuento, podemos ir mirando pgina
por pgina y hacer al nio/a las siguientes preguntas.
Hemos dado posibles respuestas por si el/la nio/a tiene
dificultades para contestar.
