Solar energy: 2 ways, passive and active. Active: solar panels Passive: using the sun
as a heater
Geothermal energy: heat coming from the earth, 2 ways geothermal power pump
and geothermal power plant
Hydropower: a cross section of a typical hydroelectric dam.
Tidal power: like hydro power but uses a 2-way water system
Ocean thermal energy conversion: exploits the temp differences between warm
surface water and cold water at depth to run a heat engine
Wind energy: uses wind mills to make energy
Biomass: derived from organic matter, burning fire wood
