This means that the first ever Jubilee celebrated by Israel happened
89 years after the Exodus, which is also 49 years after they
entered the Promised Land.
Futhermore, we are told that
480 years after the Exodus,
Solomon started building the
Temple, which also happened
to coincide with the 4th year of
his reign:
1 kings 6: 1 In the four hundred
and eightieth year after the
Israelites came out of Egypt, in the
fourth year of Solomons reign
over Israel, in the month of Ziv, the
second month, he began to build
the temple of the Lord.
1 Kings 1: 32 King David said, Call in Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet
and Benaiah son of Jehoiada. When they came before the king, 33 he said
to them: Take your lords servants with you and have Solomon my son
mount my own mule and take him down to Gihon. 34 There have Zadok the
priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him king over Israel. Blow the trumpet
and shout, Long live King Solomon! 35 Then you are to go up with him, and
he is to come and sit on my throne and reign in my place. I have appointed
him ruler over Israel and Judah. 38 So Zadok the priest, Nathan the
prophet, Benaiah son of Jehoiada, the Kerethites and the Pelethites went
down and had Solomon mount King Davids mule, and they escorted him to
Gihon. 39 Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the sacred tent and
anointed Solomon. Then they sounded the trumpet and all the people
shouted, Long live King Solomon!
50 But Adonijah, in fear of Solomon, went and took hold of the horns of the
altar. 51 Then Solomon was told, Adonijah is afraid of King Solomon and is
clinging to the horns of the altar. He says, Let King Solomon swear to me
today that he will not put his servant to death with the sword. 53 Then King
Solomon sent men, and they brought him down from the altar. And Adonijah
came and bowed down to King Solomon, and Solomon said, Go to your
home.
Solomon has to wait for his father David to die first before he can
start constructing the Temple. This is because, as a coregent of
David, everything Solomon does is considered a joint venture with
David. Since Solomon started building the Temple in his 4th
year as coregent with David, it is reasonable to conclude that
David died earlier on the same year:
1 Kings 6: 1 In the four hundred and eightieth year after the Israelites came
out of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomons reign over Israel, in the month
of Ziv, the second month, he began to build the temple of the Lord.
Since Solomons 4th year as king was 480 years after the Exodus,
we get the year of the Exodus by calculating as follows:
1007 BCE (Solomons 4th year) + 480 years = 1487 BCE.
The year 73 AD was the next Jubilee year immediately after the
death of Christ:
1398 BCE (first Jubilee year) + 73 AD 1 (no zero year) = 1470
years
1470 years / 49 years between successive Jubilee years = 30
Jubilee years.
This means 73 AD was the 31st Jubilee year.
Now what happened on 73 AD?
This year was the end of the First JewishRoman War which
happened between 6673 AD and sometimes called The Great
Revolt. Although the Second Temple in Jerusalem was desolated on
70 AD by General Titus army, the war between the Jews and the
Romans dragged on until 73 AD when the last stand of the Jewish
revolt ended in the mass suicide at Masada.
Wikipedia: The Roman legion surrounded Masada and built a circumvallation
wall, before commencing construction of a siege ramp against the western
face of the plateau, moving thousands of tons of stones and beaten earth to
do so. The ramp was completed in the spring of 73, after probably two to
three months of siege. A giant siege tower with a battering ram was
constructed and moved laboriously up the completed ramp, while the
Romans assaulted the wall, discharging "a volley of blazing torches against
... a wall of timber", allowing the Romans to finally breach the wall of the
fortress on April 16, 73 AD.
When the Romans entered the fortress, however, they found it to be "a
citadel of death. The Jewish rebels had set all the buildings but the food
storerooms ablaze and had committed mass suicide, declaring "a glorious
death ... preferable to a life of infamy."

The final Jubilee is also when the Holy City, New Jerusalem will
be seen coming down from heaven; and this will happen right after
a body of seawater will be seen evaporating into thin air:
Revelation 21: 1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first
heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any
sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven
from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I
heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Look! Gods dwelling place is
now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people,
and God himself will be with them and be their God.
Interestingly, a total solar eclipse whose path will pass very near the
North Pole and which will cover the area of the Arctic Sea will occur
on March 30, 2033. This will be the day just before the start of the
final Jubilee.
Was the sea that evaporates right before the descent of the
New Jerusalem referring to the Arctic Sea? And will the New
Jerusalem be planted in the dried up basin of the Arctic Sea?
Who are the 2 Witnesses? And why did God send His 2 Witnesses
to prophesy in sackcloth for 1260 days? I will be answering these
questions and much more in my next blog!
