Thisisthebasisoffreedom,justiceandpeaceintheworld.

ThisDeclarationaffirmsthedignityandworthofallpeople,andtheequalrightsof
womenandmen.Therightsdescribedherearethecommonstandardforallpeople
everywhere.Everypersonandnationisaskedtosupporttheunderstandingand
respectfortheserights,andtotakestepstomakesurethattheyarerecognisedand
observedeverywhere,forallpeople.
