The proposed VSAT solution is based on C-band providing the highest link
availability to other competing VSAT frequency bands. The networkis
fundamentally architectured for STAR network topology with typical hub-spoke
configuration with a single VSAT hub serving tens of thousands VSAT remotes
span across vast geographical area.
Teleport infrastructures
This serves as the main gateway of the network with highly scalable RF,
baseband hub and IP subsystems empowering TSGN to provide realtime
management, configuration, upgrades, and statistic reporting ofthe entire
satellite network.
The purpose-build teleport is served by multiple large antennas ranging from
8.1m to 11m. These arrays of antenna system ensure highest network
availability with backup capability, auto-switching, redundant uplink and
downlink RF chains.
Over-the-air, Inbound
The VSAT return link over the inbound runs on time-division-multiple access
(TDMA) with power-efficient coding such as Low-Density-Parity-Check (LDPC) and
range of FEC to operate from.
Remote VSAT terminal
A multi-band VSAT terminal capable of future network upgrades from one band
to another. Terminal shipped with rich sets of enterprise IP features such as
DHCP, DNS caching, NAT, BGP, RIPv2, IPv4, IPv6, VLAN, PBR, ACL, TCP
acceleration, and Web Acceleration.

Over-the-air, bandwidth management
The network is coupled with some of the latest bandwidth management features
to facilitate changing network environment. Traffic are categorized into different
grade each can be warranted bandwidth either in Committed Info Rate, Constant
Bit Rate, Best-effort. Each method of bandwidth access varies depending on
application behaviour and tolerance such as jitter, latency, conversational, batch
transfer, background services and etc.
