ABSTRAK
ABSTRACT
This action research study was to test the suitability of the MUDABELA
technique on Year 3 pupils to improve their skills determine in determining
the place value. Participants in this study consisted of 5 Year 3 pupils. They
are selected based on diagnostic test scores. Data were collected through a
test before and after the intervention, analysis of documents, observation,
interviews and questionnaires. Analysis showed an increase in test after
intervention. It is supported by the findings in the document and
questionnaire. This shows that MUDABELA techniques is appropriate to help
students develop the skills to determine place value. Analysis of the response
gathered through observations of students and interviews show how the
technique MUDABELA help Year 3 pupils to improve their skills to determine
the place value. Through interviews and questionnaires, students expressed a
positive attitude toward the use of MUDABELA technique. The results
showed that the use of MUDABELA technique is very effective in helping
students improve their skills to determine the place value.
