Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11 (OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0) must be installed
(Weblogic 10.3.5 bundled with OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0)
If customer is planning to integrate OBIEE with Oracle E Business Suite for SSO cookie
based integration to work, the Oracle E Business Suite and the OBIEE need to reside
in the same domain
Oracle E Business Suite 12.2.4 , with VCP 12.2.4.1 patch applied is recommended
Hardware requirement with respect to business requirement as determined by APS
sizing
Note : Applying VCP patches are not mandatory if you are not using Value Chain

Manufacturing Operations Center (MOC) Release 12.2.4 is certified with two key tech-stack components- Oracle
Data Integrator (ODI) versions 11.1.1.6.0, 11.1.1.7.0 and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
(OBIEE) 11.1.1.6.0, 11.1.1.7. 0. The schematic below shows the installation and setup of these components

1. Apply MOC Patch

Apply consolidated patch 18805180:R12.MTH.C in the EBS R12.2.4 environment.
The customers should upgrade to R12.2.4 before applying MOC patch. Refer to Oracle E-Business Suite
Release 12.2.4 Readme (Doc ID 1617458.1) for applying the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.4 Release Update
Pack.
2. Apply Source Patch
If integration with Oracle E-Business Suite is required, apply patch in the Oracle E-Business Suite instance.

RCU installation fails with invalid privileges
ensure that you create the repositories with user having sysdba privileges
During OBIEE config , create ASI instance fails install log shows error : Unexpected exit code (11)
returned by opmnctl.
this is due to the difference in gcc binaries in a 64 bit OS media ensure say for example linux you are on
latest rpms , you can use yum utility and install latest rpms
Unable to access BI presentation services
Ensure the coreapplication obipsn services are up and running use opmnctl status command to check
Check if the analytics deployment on weblogic admin console is active and health check is OK with a tick mark
Unable to access OBIEE from EBS page either shows 404 not found or
unable to connect
Check whether you have properly set the profile FND : Oracle Business intelligence suite EE base url
Check if the OBIEE and EBS are on same domain , say ex : mycompany.com
Check if the OBIEE and EBS url use the same protocol , like http / https
Also check if you correctly configured APPS COOKIE name in authenticationschema.xml and in
instanceconfig.xml files
