Shepherds (and some angels) preparing to sing

New Schedule
We kicked off the new year with a new schedule to accommodate
deeper connections. Worship services are now Sundays at 9am
(instead of 9:30) and 11am.

The beat goes on

In-between we now offer two adult groups: one for Young Marrieds
and another for all other Adults. During this in-between period the
Childrens Worship Choir will also meet with Tammy, and childcare
will be provided for the younger ones. This in-between time will run
from about 10:10am-10:45am. Start a new habit and deepen your
connections with other members of the FCC family.

This years Annual Assembly will take place on Sunday, January
29th, at 5:30pm (a light supper will be provided). Everybody is
welcome and all members are expected to attend. Come hear about
how God led in 2016 and our hopes for the upcoming year.

Being Family

Growing in Times of Transition

Accepting and dealing with change can be difficult. We tend to be comfortable
with what is and where we are. But often God will use times of transition to reveal
what is really going on in our hearts. Then, by the grace of God, we can choose to
cooperate with Him in the process of becoming more like Him.
We know there are changes here at FCC, but what are you dealing with in the
privacy of your own heart? Has God been stirring things up around you?
Ive read that when the time comes, the mother eagle removes the comfy down
from the nest in order to make things uncomfortable for the eaglet. Why?
Because she no longer loves her offspring? No, she does it so that the bird will
get out of the nest and soar as intended.
God is using uncomfortable situations in your life so that you can change. Think
of all Christ went through to fulfill His Fathers plan, none of which was pleasant.
As His followers, we likewise are called to take up our crosses and follow Him in times of joy and in times of frustration.
