I was a part of the eleven member of doctors from B.J Medical College, Pune,
Maharastra, who visited the Tsunami affected areas of Tamilnadu (villages of north
Nagapattinam, Karaikal and Seergali provinces of Pondichery) during 31/12/2004 to
6/1/2005. This visit was sponsored by Action Aid international a NGO. Apart from
first aid and medical treatment, counseling and health education was rendered to the
Tsunami affected people in these areas.
