manageable sections.
Each Committee is filled by members of Congress selected by the Speaker.
Every member of Congress must be on a minimum of two Committees and is only
permitted to chair one.
Committees are created by a simply majority vote and dissolved by the same, however
the following committees can not be dissolved: Foreign Affairs, Armed Services,
Judiciary and Intelligence Committees.
Bills that are pertinent to a Committees work must be passed in the Committee before
being set to vote in the full House, with the exception of Amendment Bills.
*If youve read this far I am certain that youve had at least one idea. Share, part of what
makes this project so impressive is its inclusive nature. Ten people could read the same
thing and have 10 different ideas on how to improve it. The review process was created
to allow those ten people with their ten ideas the ability to effect real change in this
document. A democracy is nothing without a free electorate, and an electorate that does
not exercise its rights does not build a democracy.*
*If you dont know how to write a comment, ask. I am more than willing to try and explain
the process, all you need do is ask.*
