Applications for direct admission to Ph.D. Programme 2016-17 in the University Teaching
Departments/ Institutes are invited from the eligible candidates who have qualified UGC NET(JRF) UGCCSIR(JRF)/INSPIRE/RAJIV GANDHI FELLOWSHIP/MAULANA AZAD FELLOWSHIP/ AWARDEES OF
TEACHER FELLOWSHIP/ STUDENTS SPONSORED BY ICCR/DBT-JRF/ HPU-JRF or ANY OTHER
DEPARTMENT OF GOVT. OF INDIA.
(IN CASE, SEATS REMAIN VACANT, AN ENTRANCE TEST WILL BE CONDUCTED FOR ADMISION TO
PH.D. PROGRAMME; NOTIFICATION TO THIS EFFECT WILL BE ISSUED SUBSEQUENTLY AND WILL BE
AVAILABLE ON THE UNIVERSITY WEBSITE i.e. www. hpuniv.nic.in.).
Applications complete in all respects, should be submitted to the Chairperson/ Director of the
concerned Teaching Department/Institute on before 29th December, 2016. NO APPLICATION SHALL BE
ENTERTAINED AFTER THE LAST DATE. The position of seats available for admission to Ph.D. programme
