Dear Parents,

As part of our PSHE Curriculum, (Personal, Social, Health Education), there will be a focus in Year 1
on how our bodies grow and develop. As part of this learning, children will learn the correct terms
for the male and female body parts.
The teaching of this unit will be done in a safe mature environment, where children will feel secure
to ask questions. If you have any concerns about these PSHE lessons, please contact your childs
class teacher, or Mr. Shields.
