This unit integrates negotiated professional projects
with professional liaison and self-promotion enabling
the student to build from their body of work with direct
relevance to their career aspirations.
Extensive collaborative work is encouraged enabling
students to develop an advanced level of experience
and competence in promoting their skills.

The unit is quite straight forward and
vital in enabling you to gain
employment in your chosen field.
You must prepare well in advance for
the elements of your showreel.

30% cv / business card

Feedback on your work.
In previous years I have made students do a presentation in
class.
Sadly because of numbers this year you will now be
expected to send me a either a video, powerpoint or prezi
presentation that demonstrates your progress.
This will need to be uploaded and displayed on your blog.
PDF template will be uploaded to the unit blog later this
pm.

Creative Platforms Presentation of Progress


In order for you to have feedback on this unit you will need to demonstrate your progress
and show examples of how this has been achieved through industry research, processes
and your individual production of content.
The presentation can take the form of:
1. A Video Screen Recording - using software like QuickTime, Camtasia etc. Record your
work online - via your blog, videos, animations, sound, software, research . .
2. Powerpoint or Apple Keynote
3. Prezi
To be available on your blogs by Friday 3rd February 2017
Need to demonstrate evidence of the following:

BE SPECIFIC ABOUT INDUSTRY / ROLES / JOB PROFILE EXAMPLES / SKILLS SET NEEDED
SHOWREEL / CV/ BUSINESS CARD PRODUCTION Describe the processes of conception, design and
production, including journal keeping (online blog)
INITIAL IDEAS - SKETCHES, STORYBOARDS ETC, SCREENGRABS USING SOFTWARE, HARDWARE / PROVIDE
WEB ADDRESS OF YOUR BLOG AND EXAMPLES OF HOW YOU HAVE USED IT - SCREENSHOTS. WEBSITE
DESIGN & PRODUCTION.

TRY TO BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE - EVEN PROVIDE A TIME SHEET OR ACTION PLAN.
Either Maximum of 15 slides if Powerpoint, Keynote or Prezi or Maximum 15 Min video.

Please email me by 3pm on Friday 3rd February 2017 with a link to your
presentation. I will then look through your presentations and email you
feedback.
