Physics Lab
This course is part of the
University of South Floridas
Foundations of Knowledge and
Learning Core Curriculum. It is
certified for Natural Sciences
(Physical Sciences) and for the
following dimensions: Critical
Thinking, Inquiry-based Learning, Scientific
Processes, and Quantitative Literacy.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: (1) Students will
demonstrate the skills to apply mathematics
such as algebra and trigonometry to real
physical problems. (2) Students will display skill
in basic data analysis using Excel. (3) Students
will learn to identify experimental error and
uncertainty from laboratory experiments and
consider this information in their analysis.
Please note: This is a separate course
from your lecture. Though you will learn
(or re-learn) similar concepts, this lab
provides all of the expectations you will
need without having seen them in lecture.
OFFICE HOURS: Your lab instructor will be available
just before and just after your lab class. You may also
