One can be fully human with death is through the condition of freedom as a choice of

communion.
Death is an absolute phenomenon of the end of a being. As further defined by
Troisfontaines, death is inevitable, a definitive misfortune, for which there is no way out, no
remedy. It is the supreme conclusion of our existence. Moreover, death is perceived to be
terrifying, an event filled with despair and agony. But isnt it the other way around?
For any entity that started, a corresponding end must happen to complete its wholeness.
Its like I shall disappear to fully attain my I. The becoming, shall cease by death to fulfill its
being. From this notion, death seems to be the perfect caution of life. Death frees me to my
personal autonomy through my becoming, that is done by selection. A condition of ones liberty
through having a choice.
This choice is referring to a lifes two possibilities which determines how life is rather
being valued, and is not wasted. In accordance, a man has an option to live his life in communion
with others and with God, immersing himself into the direction of charity. Its a choice of having
a significant life, an existence that has a purpose. With this, life is the life itself, meaning there
is joy, acceptance and love. It is where heaven is reached, as a paradise of eternity. A newly
canonized saint named Mother Teresa has lived in India for several years, and offered her life by
taking care of the sick and the poor. Her charitable works are acted upon his great love and
devotion to God. She didnt have much in the secular world, but definitely she had lived her life
in communion with others. It doesnt mean a person should be necessarily like her, but a person
that is in sync with others tend to be the most human at all.
On the other hand, there is isolation of self. A life that is selfish, prideful and egoistic.
The choice of a self-centered person is basically secluded from his or her own infinite
possibilities; hides the ability to appreciate the life that is being given.
Therefore, as a person becomes mindful of death, it gives a condition of freedom of how
he or she must respond to the lifes calling; an implication of how losing is actually gaining, a
much profound meaning of our existence. This allows us to be aware of our own becoming, our
humanness, of how a person becomes a true human being. A man or woman for others, a person
who values altruism and gratitude, an individual who knows the worth of compassion as a

language of love channeled to joy, peace and hope within himself and others; these are
characteristics of a full human being.
By having a right attitude and anticipation towards death itself and by understanding its
profound meaning and further translating it into action, a being isnt only a living entity, but a
full human itself.
