My name is Kaniz Fatema and I am a student of BBA student of University of Dhaka Currently
doing Thesis under the instruction of Sadia Afrose, Associate professor, Department of
Accounting and Information Systems, University of Dhaka.
My topic of research is Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility practices on Company
performance with the view from telecommunication industries in Bangladesh. Corporate
Social Responsibility (CSR) is increasingly being seen as an important strategy for sustainable
businesses.
The objective of my research is to understand whether there is a relationship between corporate
social responsibility towards stakeholders and financial performance. The stakeholders included
are employees, customers, communities, owners and environment.
The term Corporate Social Responsibility is defined to include all activities undertaken by an
enterprise going beyond the legal compliance and bringing about a positive contribution at the
workplace, environment, market or community.
