PSYCHOSOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
By: Eriksons theory
Erik Eriksons believed that people continue to develop throughout life. Eriksons theory
proposes that life is a sequence of developmental stages or level of achievement. Each stage
signals a task that must be accomplished. He believed that the more success an individual has at
each stage, the healthier the person is, but failure to complete any developmental stage influences
the persons ability to progress to the next level.
Mrs. C is 82 years old and she belongs to maturity stage which ranges an age of 65 years
