GENERAL OBJECTIVES

At the end of two days Educational Tour at Davao City, the institution will be
able to:

Provide the opportunity to observe nurses at work in the wards, and roles of
allied health professionals.
Provide access the students nurse to get the better understanding of their work.
Provide students experiential learning experiences more meaningful and
memorable
Help the students appreciate the relevance and importance of what they learn in
the classroom
Demonstrate the use of critical thinking in all aspects of their educational and
healthcare professional
Enhances the curriculum as students learn from actual hands-on experiences ,
rather than by simply reading and hearing about something
Enhances concrete skills of students such as note taking skills, speaking skills
,writing skills, by doing such activities(e.g. developed questions to be asked ,
elevate their experiences, be able to competitive and etc.
Nurture a culture of learning and develop highly effective healthcare
professionals

PRIMARY ESTABLISHMENTS/ HOSPITALS TO VISIT

SOUTHERN PHILIPPINE MEDICAL HOSPITAL

OBJECTIVES:
At the end of 1hour visit at the Southern Philippine Medical Hospital, the students will be
able to:
1.) Distinguish the hospitals modalities from the other Psychiatric Facilities weve
been to.
2.) Compare the services offered at the Southern Philippine Medical Hospital from
the Psychiatric Facility in Cagayan de Oro City.
3.) Identify the hospitals ethics and legalities related to mental health care.
4.) Articulate awareness of standards and scope of practice related to personal level
of competency.

Davao Doctors Hospital

OBJECTIVES:
At the end of 1hour visit at Davao Doctors Hospital, the students will be able to:
1.) Gain knowledge about the values offered by the hospital.
2.) Recognize the hospitals different services and equipment and compare these
from the hospitals at Cagayan de Oro City.
3.) Grasp the quality healthcare experience they anchored to people.
4.) Identify the training programs they offer.
