Nursing Philosophy: Call for papers for Special Issue

Revisiting the roots of nursing philosophy and critical theory: Past, present and future

Submission deadline 1st June 2017
The theme Revisiting the roots of nursing philosophy and critical theory: Past, present
and future offers scope for reflection on the diverse critical theories and philosophies,
authors and texts that have, do, and will shape understandings about some fundaments of
nursing its ontology, epistemology, politics and ethics and about the practices that
become established in nursing.
English language papers are now invited for consideration for a special issue of Nursing
Philosophy based on three sub-themes: A world of Thinkers and their Works; A world of
Positions; and A world in Becoming. Manuscripts should be prepared and submitted in
accordance with the journal author guidelines and will be subject to the usual peer-review
process. When submitting your manuscript please state that the article is for the special
issue Revisiting the roots of nursing philosophy and critical theory: Past, present and
future. The deadline for submission of manuscripts is 1st June 2017.
