Attending the University of Alabama sets one up for success in postbaccalaureate life because of its distinct campus environment. This
university is a suburban area and is 1,026 acres in size. The University of
Alabama has a very unique campus with all of its buildings and student halls.
This campus has security on it twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Throughout all the student housing, there are bodyguards outside of every
building, observing who is coming into the building and surrounding it. Also,
the University of Alabama has a variety of housing options to accommodate
everyone. They offer housing for coed men, women, international students,
apartments for married couples, disabled students, theme housing, and
housing in fraternities and sororities. The University of Alabama also always
has ways that their students can travel without any issues. For some of the
housing, such as fraternities and sororities, the students are allowed to park
at their houses. However, if one belongs to a fraternity or sorority as a
freshmen, there is no cars for them their first year on campus. Along with
parking, the university offers a shuttle called the Crimson ride to and from
the Birmingham airport back to the University of Alabama. This
transportation helps suit everyones needs whether the students are
freshmen or do not have a car. The University of Alabama tries their absolute
best to please every individual student and their families.
Secondly, attending the University of Alabama sets one up for success in
post-baccalaureate life because of its abundant scholarship opportunities.
The University of Alabama is very generous with giving scholarships to the
students who deserve them most.
