Everyone hates the fact that someone you really and truly love
could just cheat and leave you in an instant. Our thriller shows
how and girlfriend and her psycho new lad cheats on the
original boyfriend. This causes controversy amongst the group
causing an emotional and traumatic time for the couple.
Our thriller opens in the living room of the girlfriends house.
They sit side by side next to one another intensely interacted
with the hilarious comedy film displayed on the TV. James (The
boyfriend), is deeply enchanted with the film, whereas Ella (The
girlfriend) is distracted, taking no notice in the film or James.
She keeps a slight distance from James to prevent him for
discovery the texts she is sending and receiving from Adam
(the new lad), which would then lead to heart-rending questions
to be asked.
Taking a minor break from her phone, Ella carries on watching
the movie. The phone suddenly pings, indicating she has
received a message from Adam. James then questions who the
message is from as he becomes knowledgeable of Ella being
distressed over the fact that James has caught her taking a dim
attentiveness to the film. Ella has an indistinct enlightenment
to the questions as she is anxious of the response shell obtain
when he finds out the truth about her and the mystery new lad
Adam. To make matters worse, Ella doesnt reply as she is
conversant that she has acted upon something unforgiveable.
Ellas expected reaction from James is correct as he abruptly
alerts in distress and annoyance over the initial instinct he had
gathered from Ellas body language towards the text on the
phone. He starts pacing back and forth, trying to process the
fact that his girlfriend had cheated on him. This then leads to

an argument with one another asking her why she wont tell
him the truth.
The phone is left on its own when the argument moves to the
kitchen, however the argument is cut short as a forceful bang is
sounded. The couple look at each other in a panic as they
believe that theyre not alone. To prove their conscience wrong,
they head towards the noise. Whilst they both investigate;
another text comes through revealing a message saying Im
here!. Neither Ella or James know that the message has come
through.
There is a silence for a while as James and Ella stand frozen,
listening another big bang is heard. They both leave the kitchen
moving slowly with fear.
They are un-sure about where the bang has come from. Ella
goes upstairs to investigate whilst James remains downstairs,
as Ella has gone James decides to go into the cellar. He stands
in front of the door and hesitates to open the cellar door.
He has a hand on the handle (camera close up on hand) James
turns the handle cautiously, door creaks open. James turns the
light and walks down the cellar stairs carefully. Once at the
bottom of the stairs the lights turn off and the door slams shut.
Ella still upstairs hears the door slam and leaves her current
room to find James. Standing at the top of the stairs Ella stares
at the cellar door before rushing down stairs.
She is worried because there is no sign of James anywhere, like
James she opens the cellar door with caution. As the door
opens a beam of light enters the door way of the dark cellar.
Ella looks at the cellar stairs to the top (camera tilt from bottom
to top) and just before the top steps Ella sees Jamess glasses
lay still. So instantly know somethings wrong and shouts
JAMES.
