JOB DISCRIPTION:
The job of welder requires a wide variety of talents and physical capabilities. The individuals must be both
mentally and physically prepared for many tasks at hand. The welders day to day existence dictates that with proper
knowledge and training , also welder can submit accurate reports.The welder must be required to passed the specials
requirements conducted by the company which is the ( WQT ) WELDING QUALIFICATION TEST. Each welder who
weld under the rules of code shall have passed the mechanical and visual examinations. Welder making groove weld
using GTAW / SMAW or other qualification (except short-circuiting mode) or a combination of the this processes, may
be qualified by radiographic examination. The welder qualified to weld in accordance with one qualification ( WPS )
WELDING PROCEDURE SPECIFICATION is also qualified to weld in accordance with other WPSs , using the same
welding process.
