Interview. In this video Holocaust survivor Harold Gordon gives his account to
what it was like to be a prisoner during the Holocaust. This source was
helpful to me because it provided information about the struggles that
prisoners endured during the Holocaust, which Schindler was able to help
prevent for some people.

work saved Jews from enduring such punishments and cruelties.

From the photograph, I was able to learn more about how Jews were treated
in the prison camps. The depiction of Jews as prisoners shows how Schindler
was able to prevent Jews from enduring unfair treatment and inequality that
many other Jews faced during the Holocaust.

prisoners had to endure. The factory work that provided safety and food
under Schindler's control does not compare well to the harsh labor that the

Schindler's care for humanity is manifested by the way he saves this man

a selfless man shows how anyone can be a hero, even those who would
never expect to be one.

that since Oskar Schindler took a stand, he was able to save the lives of

many innocent people and prevented them from dying a cruel and
undeserved death.
