The citizen who so values his "independence" that he will not

enroll in a political party is really forfeiting independence,

because he abandons a share in decision making at the
primary level: the choice of the candidate.
Politics is one of the most fundamental pillar on which the whole country stands.
This pillar is the representative of the entire nation. If this pillar is strong, then the
entire country, i.e. its citizen, its economy etc. will also be strong. But unfortunately,
this case is not taken serious by many educated and well aware people. They prefer
other responsibilities and ignore the most fundamental and important brick of the
building on which their whole living condition stands. It is the duty of every citizen
to participate in political activities, take decisions for the wider society and
contribute their time, money, effort for the well-being of the society in which he has
been living and his family is living for the entire life. They are the ones who portray
what the whole society thinks generally. If they will not stand up, then it means that
they are putting themselves in slavery and so they have no right to play blame
games with the political conditions, because they then will be responsible for that
situation.
Many mindful and cognizant people just think that involving in politics is just the
waste of time and money and it is also very dangerous. Living life being a doctor,
engineer or a business man is far more peaceful than living as a politician having
responsibilities of thousands and millions of people which a politician often find
difficult to fulfill, which results in chaos against them. But having such a thought
means that people are not willing to leave their comfort zone. They should keep in
mind that a handful of countries provide this golden opportunity to its citizens to
participate in political parties like that of Netherlands. Netherlands allow its citizens
to choose representatives and they have also allowed minorities to form political
parties of their own, which will then be subsidized by the government itself. But
countries like China, Iraq, Cuba does not give such an opportunity to them.
Everybody is chasing for improving their personal as well as living condition of his or
her family, and ignores the larger responsibility they have on the society as a whole
People should not think of their personal gains and desires and should not ignore
the most important institution to which they are associated. This is because if they
will ignore this institution, then they wil be having no rights to put blames on ill
political conditions. They then have to sacrifice. The best example Is of Pakistan, in
which people love to talk about politics of which a number of such T.V. shows can be
seen today. But probably 0.5% of the youth must be willing to join politics in the
future.
In conclusion, all citizens especially youth must be allowed to join political parties
and they should be educated that it is respectful and most significant institution of
our country which should be dealt seriously. NDI has now given right to many people

to stand up for their share in politics and the citizens should take fll advantage of
these rights.
